Season 11 promised much and delivered substantially. Promotion to the elite ranks brought out the best in Ian Defley, the team's premier rider, though contributions from other parts of the team dropped significantly.
A good start at the Ainet - Bruggen classic was matched with a scintillating performance from Defley in the team's first ever tour appearance. Defley managed a podium grand slam at the Volta ao Porto, finishing in a credible 5th place after threatening to challenge at times.
Robert Howarth was the other standout rider, chipping in with a few close finishes as he racked up some invaluable OCM points and prizemoney for the team. Hartley Natcher to deserved mention for a battling 9th place early on when called upon to take up the lead role temporarily.
Although Dodge went through a traditional mid season slump, the team recovered well and went on to post victories in the Americas, culminating in the first ever appearance at the World Championships.
Ian Defley was the man on point and didn't disappoint, coming in close on the heels of the leaders in a credible 9th place.
Season 11 also saw the impending departure of team principal Scott Woodhouse, who announced that he would be stepping down from his post as General Manager shortly.
